False Ad and very discourteous customer relations and customer service


I booked my hotel reservation for Marriott Gateway Canada over the phone by calling the priceline.com customer service. I am asking for refund because due to personal reason my husband couldnt cross the border to canada which I didnt expect at all. Their customer relations officer was not courteous enough to resolve my issue and even asked if no refund can be given, just transfer that reservation to any hotel in New York side. Of course, I did pay for $310 to priceline to Marriott Gateway on the falls that I never even used at all. False Ad, false information from the very beginning also stating that no additional costs for additional adult accdg to Wayne of Marriott Gateway. Both these companies, Priceline and Marriott Hotel have very discourteous customer service. Aside from the fact that I didnt get my refund, they didnt even helped me at all. Very disappointed for dealing with these people who I expect to provide me good services and consideration. Ive been a long customer also of Marriot Hotel, but for this reason, I would not even dare to go there, not even recommend Marriott and also for booking at priceline.com. Id rather pay a higher rate, rather than dealing with these two companies who I now rate as very poor in terms of dealing with their clients. Also, Marriott Gateway has mentioned that that's the problem with booking to priceline...it's not guaranteed tho they state in their online ad that it is best Guaranteed....that is a total ripped-off to customers who believes that false ad.
